The mandrel-bent T304 stainless steel X-pipe connects to two ultra-high performance GREEN catalysts for minimal exhaust restriction while maintaining EPA compliance. Green Catalytic Converters. GreenCats are Kooks ultra high performance green catalytic converters. Kooks specifically designed these Catalytic Converters to meet stringent EPA Federal Emissions Standards. Able to handle exhaust temperatures of up to 1500F, these GreenCats work exceptionally well on both force inducted and naturally aspirated Mustangs. GreenCats have a 90% success rate of eliminating emission related “Check Engine Light” issues.Built to Last While Going Fast. High-quality T304 stainless steel is mandrel-bent by Kooks to make the smoothest exhaust path possible. This X-Pipe allows you to retain the stock 2.5″ tailpipe and muffler on your GT500. This X-Pipe is made in the USA and covered under Kook’s limited lifetime warranty.
Easy, Bolt-On Installation. The Kooks GREEN Catted X-Pipe is a bolt-on application that does not require welding, cutting or drilling. The X-Pipe bolts up to Kooks 3″ Long Tube Headers clamping to the existing 2.5″ OEM exhaust system. All of the required mounting hardware is provided.
Application. This Kooks Green Cat Catted X-Pipe with is specifically designed to fit the 2007 to 2010 Shelby GT500 Mustangs equipped with the supercharged 5.4L V8 engine. This X-Pipe is intended to be installed with 3″ Kooks Long-Tube Headers.
Technical Note. This product is not legal for use in California or any other state adopting California emission standards. Not legal for use on pollution controlled motor vehicles; intended for off road use only. These Headers are intended for left hand drive applications only.
