Required For BBK Long Tube Headers. When upgrading to a set of BBK long tube headers on your coyote powered S550 Mustang you will require a 3″ to 2.5″ Mid-Pipe Adapter for proper installation. This Mid Pipe adapter along with BBK Long Tube Headers will allow you the option of installing a factory catback, a BBK 2.5″ catback or any other brand of 2.5″ aftermarket catback on your S550 GT.
Durable BBK Construction. Manufactured from high quality 3″ diameter aluminized tubing for superior strength and corrosion resistance, this BBK Long Tube Header Adapter Mid-Pipe features smooth mandrel bends throughout the entire piping to improve exhaust flow for more power and better performance.
High Flow Catalytic Converters. This BBK Performance Long Tube Header Adapter Mid-Pipe features a pair of high flow catalytic converters that provide a significant improvement in exhaust flow over the restrictive factory cats for an increase in horsepower and torque.
Application. The BBK Performance 3″ Catted Long Tube Header Adapter Mid-Pipe is specifically designed to be used on 2015-2023 GT Mustangs equipped with BBK’s Long Tube Headers and allows for the use of your stock OEM catback, a BBK 2.50-inch cat-back or any other brand of 2.50-inch aftermarket cat-back exhaust system.
