Throaty Muscle Car Roar. A CGS Motorsports Cat-Back will add a muscle car roar to the sound of your GT’s exhaust without the drone. CGS knows you love the sound of an aggressive exhaust, but still want to be able to hear your radio and passengers while tooling around town. That is why CGS developed their Cat-Back Exhaust with an X-Pipe and a set of performance mufflers to give you the throaty sound you want without any of the irritating interior drone.
More Horse Power. Not only will a CGS Motorsports Cat-Back improve the sound of your GT Mustang, but it will also improve its horse power as well. CGS designed their Cat-Back Exhaust System with an X-Pipe and a pair of high flow, chambered performance mufflers. The mufflers feature a very unique chambered design that was specifically developed to increase exhaust flow for an impressive boost in power. By replacing the restrictive factory mid pipe resonator and mufflers with a CGS Motorsports Cat-Back you can expect to see an increase of 30.8 horsepower at the rear wheels.
High Quality Construction. CGS Motorsports Cat-Back Exhaust systems are manufactured right here in the USA with pride. CGS uses mandrel-bent 3″ diameter aluminized steel tubing for excellent exhaust flow and good corrosion resistance. The included performance mufflers are constructed from high quality, T304 stainless steel that is fully welded for superior strength, with no epoxy adhesives that can fail. This Cat-Back features two massive, 4.0″ diameter, slant cut, 304 stainless steel tips for impressive muscle car styling.
50 State Street Legal. This CGS Motorsports Performance Muffler Cat-Back Exhaust System is 50 state street legal and will not affect factory warranty or emissions standards. CGS Motorsports backs their exhaust systems with a Lifetime Warranty.
Bolt-on Installation. The CGS Motorsports Cat-Back with X-Pipe was engineered to bolt straight up in the stock location, after the catalytic converters, with no cutting required for installation. This 3″ Cat-Back includes 2.5″ step down flanges so that it can be installed with the factory or any aftermarket 2.5″ exhaust system. Please note, convertible models with the additional brace underneath the vehicle, will be required to use a 1 inch spacer with the brace or would need to remove the brace completely.
Application. This CGS Motorsports Performance Muffler 3″ Cat-Back Exhaust System is specifically designed to fit the 2015 to 2017 GT Mustangs equipped with the Coyote 5.0L DOHC V8 engine.
