High Performance Carbon Fiber Hood. The Anderson Composites Type-Z28 Hood; Carbon Fiber is designed to replace the factory hood on Chevrolet Camaro Z28 models from 2014 and 2015. This hood helps reduce weight while maintaining structural integrity and style, enhancing both performance and aesthetics. Ideal for drivers who demand lightweight components without compromising on strength.

Construction and Appearance. Crafted using a vacuum infused process with premium 3K, 2×2 twill carbon fiber cloth, this hood features a marine grade gel coat with UV inhibitors. It is polished to a high luster gloss finish, resulting in an attractive and durable surface resistant to environmental damage.

Installation. Installation may require minor adjustments to ensure proper fitment. The hood mounts using original equipment (OE) hardware, which is not included. Hood pins are required for safety reasons due to the composite construction. Heat shield installation is necessary. Gas struts are not recommended to be reinstalled because of the excessive pressure they place on the composite hood.

Application. Specifically designed to fit the 2014 and 2015 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. The center section is sold separately. This hood combines lightweight design with durability to enhance both the performance and styling of your vehicle.
