It replaces the OE hood vents, with the option to remove the new hood vent and instead use an Anderson Composites AB-Style Hood Vent (#AC-HV15FDMUGT-AB) for further customization (sold separately).

Better Aerodynamics. Anderson Composites uses high-grade carbon fiber for this Cowl Hood. The material is crafted to improve your Mustang’s aerodynamics.

Carbon Fiber. This 3 inch Cowl Hood is made from 3 inch Type-CJ carbon fiber. Known for its lightweight and reliable properties, the carbon fiber material gives you confidence in the performance of your Mustang – all while looking great. A clear finish provides an attractive sheen to the hood.

Uses OE Hardware. Anderson Composites’ Cowl Hood makes use of the existing factory hardware for an easier installation. For safety, use hood pins. A hood shield is required, too. The manufacturer recommends a hood prop rod as well.

Six-Month Warranties. This new Cowl Hood comes with a 6-month appearance warranty and a 6-month finish warranty, both through the manufacturer. Please refer to the Anderson Composites warranties for specifics.
