The kit contains the necessary components for a long lasting and secure pinion gear “swap” installation. This is designed to accommodate low mileage vehicles where the carrier bearings and races can be reused.
Kit Features. The 8.8” pinion install kit comes designed for the rear end location differential for an efficient pinion gear installation. The kit uses Timken bearings and races and includes complete pinion shim kit, pilot bearing (if applicable), crush sleeve (if applicable), pinion nut, thread locker, and tube of pinion marking compound with brush.
Installation. This install kit provide pieces for a complete pinion gear install and follows a direct-fit replacement installation step process.
Warranty. Yukon Gear & Axle supports this install kit with a 1-year manufacturing warranty against all manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Please refer to the manufacturer’s website for further warranty information.
