High-Performance Braking. The Wilwood AERO6 Front Big Brake Kit with slotted rotors and red calipers is engineered to deliver exceptional stopping power for performance vehicles. Suitable for both street and track use, it provides enhanced braking efficiency and improved heat dissipation for heavy-duty applications, ensuring reliable control under demanding conditions.
Construction and Appearance. This kit features 6-piston radial mount calipers with a durable red powder coat finish for long-lasting performance and aesthetic appeal. The rotors are constructed from Spec-37 iron and utilize a GT 72 curved vane slotted design to maximize cooling and minimize brake fade. The lightweight aluminum hats are finished with a black e-coat for corrosion resistance and added strength.
Installation. Installation is moderate in difficulty and designed to fit factory disc spindles without the need for drilling. The large 14.25-inch rotors require wheels with a minimum diameter of 18 inches for proper clearance.
Application. This brake kit fits 2009 to 2011 Challenger R/T and SE models. Note that it is not compatible with AWD, SRT-8, Police packages, or vehicles equipped with factory Brembo calipers.
