HIGH-PERFORMANCE BRAKING. The Wilwood AERO6 Front Big Brake Kit with Slotted Rotors and Black Calipers is engineered for maximum stopping power and efficient heat management in both street and track environments. Featuring large diameter rotors and six-piston calipers, this kit enhances braking performance for improved safety and control under demanding conditions.
CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. This kit includes AERO6 six-piston radial mount calipers finished in durable black powder coat for corrosion resistance and a sleek look. Rotors are crafted from Spec-37 iron with a 14.25-inch diameter and incorporate a GT 72 curved vane design alongside slotted surfaces to optimize cooling and maintain brake pad cleanliness.
INSTALLATION. Installation is moderately challenging and requires no drilling, as the kit is designed to mount directly to factory disc spindles. Wheel clearance should be verified to ensure compatibility with wheels measuring 18 inches or greater.
APPLICATION. Specifically designed to fit 2009-2011 Challenger R/T and SE models. This kit is not compatible with all drivetrain configurations, including AWD, SRT-8, police vehicles, or models equipped with factory Brembo calipers.
