The Wilwood AERO6 Front Big Brake Kit with Drilled and Slotted Rotors and Black Calipers is engineered to deliver superior stopping power and enhanced heat dissipation for demanding street and track use. Featuring six-piston calipers and large 14.25-inch diameter rotors, it provides increased clamping force and fade resistance essential for vehicles needing improved braking capacity. The system is designed to enhance safety, performance, and durability while maintaining compatibility with factory master cylinders and ABS systems.
CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. This kit features AERO6 calipers constructed from high-quality materials with a durable black powder coat finish for corrosion resistance and an attractive look. The rotors are made from Spec-37 iron with a black electro-coating for additional protection. Their drilled and slotted design improves cooling efficiency and debris removal. The brake hats are crafted from black E-coat aluminum with a flared bell design, enhancing both structural integrity and visual appeal.
INSTALLATION. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and no drilling, as the kit mounts directly to the factory disc spindles. Wheel clearance diagrams are provided to verify fitment with wheels 18 inches or larger, ensuring a straightforward upgrade process.
APPLICATION. This brake kit fits 2009-2011 Dodge Challenger R/T and SE models. It is not compatible with all-wheel-drive versions, SRT-8, police package vehicles, or those equipped with factory Brembo calipers.
