The Wilwood AERO4 Rear Big Brake Kit with drilled and slotted rotors and red calipers significantly enhances braking performance by replacing the factory rear disc brakes while maintaining compatibility with the OEM parking brake assembly. Designed for high-performance and customized vehicles, it provides increased stopping power, durability, and improved heat dissipation for consistent braking under demanding conditions.
Construction and Appearance. This brake kit features high-performance AERO4 calipers with four stainless steel pistons and a red powder coat finish for corrosion resistance and visual appeal. The rotors are Spec-37 iron with a black electro-coated finish, drilled and slotted to improve cooling and reduce brake fade during aggressive use.
Installation. Installation is straightforward for experienced technicians utilizing the OEM axle flange and parking brake assembly with no drilling required. Precise axle offset measurements are needed to ensure a proper fit.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 09-11 Challenger R/T and SE models. The kit is not compatible with all-wheel drive, SRT-8, police packages, or vehicles equipped with factory Brembo calipers.
