However, DCI’s Underbody HeatShield Kit was designed to add an extra level of heat protection, when compared to the factory shields, to keep you cool and comfortable.
Handles Extreme Temperatures. DCI developed this HeatShield Kit using OEM technology and years of experience to identify the underbody areas that would become an issue once aftermarket exhaust modifications were introduced. The front floorboard and center bearing shields are rated to 600°C (1112°F), while the exhaust pipe shields near the gas tank are rated up to 1000°C (1832°F). Making DCI Underbody Heat Shielding ideal for street, strip and drag applications.
Straight Forward Installation. The DCI Underbody HeatShield Kit installs easily with mechanically fasteners, there are no permanent modifications required. The kit can be installed in less than an hour.
