Construction and Appearance. Constructed of cast iron with a zinc-coated finish, these rotors feature a two-piece design with aluminum hats that reduce weight substantially. The floating rotor design allows independent expansion between the rotor and hat, reducing stress and cracking. The surface includes cross-drilled holes for improved cooling and gas release, finished with a corrosion-resistant coating for longevity.
Installation. Installation requires no special drilling as the rotors are designed to fit directly onto the vehicle’s OEM mounting points. The process is straightforward for those with moderate mechanical skills and appropriate tools, supporting a direct bolt-on upgrade.
