Description
Line Lock System. Line lock systems, sometimes know as a Roll-Control Package, allows the driver to “lock up” the front brakes while letting the rear wheels spin free to heat up the rear tires in the burnout box for better traction down the track. Not only is it a great way to warm up your tires, but you can also use the system to prevent a manual transmission cars from rolling out of the staging beams at the starting line.
How It Works. The SR Performance Brake-Control Line Lock Kit works by simply pressing the brake pedal and flipping the brake-control solenoid switch on. Remove your foot from the pedal, and the solenoid maintains line pressure to the front brakes until the switch is released. This saves wear and tear on your car’s rear brake components from the old “left foot on the brake and right foot on the gas” method.
Complete Kit. The SR Performance Line Lock Kit comes complete and includes a waterproof epoxy molded electrical solenoid, activation switch, indicator light, 4-amp fuse, CNC-bent steel lines, mounting hardware and installation instructions.
Application. This SR Performance Line Lock Burn Out Kit is a bolt-on modification for all 2010-2014 Mustangs including the V6, GT, BOSS and Shelby GT500 models.
