Optimal Construction. The HPS Short Ram Kit has 4-inch mandrel-bent aluminum tubing and stainless steel tips. Service is only needed every 100 thousand miles. The Heat Shield and Air Intake are built to OEM specifications, so no drilling or welding is necessary.
HPS High-Flow Air Filter. An HPS High-Flow air filter has more surface area than your Mustang’s stock filter. This allows the filter to catch more dust and other particles. Installation won’t trigger your CEL light so you won’t need a tune-up after installation.
No Tune Required. This HPS Short Ram Cold Air Intake is designed to improve the performance of your coyote powered GT without the need of reprogramming your Mustang computer. Even though a re-tune is not required for operation, AmericanMuscle recommends a custom tune to reprogram the vehicles computer (ECU) to get the best possible performance from this intake.
Basic Installation. HPS designed this Cold Air Intake and Heatshield to be installed easily with the use of basic hand tools. No extra modifications or special tools are required for installation.
Not CARB Certified. This HPS Cold Air Intake is not CARB certified at this time, therefore it is not legal for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards. Not legal for use on pollution controlled motor vehicles; intended for off road use only.
