5 Mil Cast Vinyl. SEC10 uses the highest grade vinyl for their decals. The 5 mil vinyl that is used is specifically designed with a thick lens for lens tints and is the highest grade cast vinyl on the market. This breathable polyvinyl has 3 layers: a protective layer that is removed after installation, a film layer and a backing layer. While the 5 mil vinyl is thicker, it remains flexible to allow for easy installation and less chance of wrinkling. The flexible and breathable qualities allow it to have self-healing properties which provide good protection against road debris. Our vinyl is also rated for continual outdoor use without shrinking for up to 5 years.
