This Roush Intake replaces your GT Mustang’s restrictive stock air box and paper filter element with a high flow air box and filter assembly for a noticeable increase in horsepower, torque and throttle response.
No Tune Required. This Roush Performance Cold Air Intake is designed to improve the performance of your coyote powered GT without the need of reprogramming your Mustang’s computer. By utilizing state of the art computer-aided designs, this Roush Intake will increase power using the factory tune. Even though a re-tune is not required for operation, AmericanMuscle recommends a custom tune to reprogram the vehicles computer (ECU) to get the best possible performance from this intake.
Reusable High Flow Dry Filter. The included Roush High-flow Dry Air Filter provides excellent filtration of harmful particulates. It is composed of two layers of wire mesh for durability and is proven to retain its shape even under high airflow. This dry air filter is washable and does not require oiling, saving you time and money.
Unique Air Box Design. This Roush Cold Air Intake features a CAD-designed roto-molded intake box that draws cooler outside air via the factory cold air duct. While the unique shape of the box improves airflow around the entire filter. A cool feature of this innovative Roush Intake is the clear plastic window that not only adds eye catching under hood appeal, but makes it easy to check the filters condition with just a glance.
Straight Forward Installation. The Roush Performance Cold Air Intake Kit is designed to install easily with just basic hand tools. No extra modifications or special tools are required for proper installation. All necessary parts and instructions are included. Please note, if you would like to retain the factory engine cover on your vehicle, trimming to the cover is required.
CARB Certified. This Roush Cold Air Intake is CARB certified and legal for use on pollution controlled motor vehicles under CARB EO Number D-418-42.
