It comes complete with internal voltage regulator and is tested at the time of assembly. The 170 Amp Alternator will increase the charging capacity of your SVT Cobra at all RPM Ranges with no modifications required.
Increased Charging Capacity. The PA Performance Alternator produces 90 amps at an idle (2000 alternator shaft RPM) and 170 amps at maximum (6000 alternator shaft RPM).
