This driver side MLS Head Gasket won’t need to be re-torqued and won’t need any sealants. The embossing design of this gasket provides even clamp load, allowing for measurable reduced bore distortion.
Quality Construction. Crafted from multi-layer stainless steel for increased strength and corrosion resistance, this left side Cometic MLS Head Gasket will provide maximum sealing performance for your 5.0L Coyote. The outer layers have been embossed as well as coated on both sides with Viton, which is a flouroelastomer rubber based material that can resist heat up to 250°C / 482°F. The center shim layer of stainless steel is uncoated and measures 0.040″ thick.
Application. This driver side Cometic 94mm Bore Multi-Layer Steel Head Gasket is designed for 2011-2014 5.0L Mustangs, including GT and BOSS models, that have a custom 94mm diameter bore 5.0L Coyote engine.
Note. The stock 5.0L Coyote engine has a 92mm diameter bore from the factory.
