Horsepower and Torque. Improve the performance of your 4.6L GT Mustang by replacing those restrictive factory manifolds with a set of LTH Long Tube Headers for an increase in horsepower and torque. LTH headers were developed to give you the best balance of low end and top end power when installed with a matching LTH shorty Mid Pipe.
Stainless Steel Construction. LTH Long Tube Exhaust Headers are manufactured in the USA from mandrel bent 2″ diameter 304 stainless steel tubing for superior airflow, durability and corrosion resistance. They are completed in LTH’s Titan™ Uniform Satin Finish for great looks.
LTH Titan™ Uniform Satin Finish. Titan™ is LTH’s unique proprietary process that produces a bright uniform satin finish over the entire part to eliminate the ugly discoloration from welds, heat, and scratches that are encountered during manufacturing; making it the perfect exhaust finish for high end show cars. Not only does the process create a show quality finish, but it also strengthens the stainless steel to eliminate microscopic sharp edges created during welding that could, if not removed, become tears and cause the product to fail.
Required Upgrade. For proper operation and maximum power potential these Long Tube Headers will require reprogramming the vehicles computer. AmericanMuscle recommends a Bama custom tune with a Mustang Handheld Tuner to reprogram the vehicles ECU for proper operation.
Application. These 2″ LTH Long Tube Headers are designed to fit the 2005-2010 GT and Bullitt Mustangs equipped with the 4.6L 3V SOHC Modular V8 engine. LTH long tube headers will require the use of a LTH shorty Mid Pipe in order to be installed properly (see drop down option above).
