This system is ideal for GT350 owners that want improved performance and a unique tone on the street, track or drag strip.
Compatible with Factory Multi-mode Exhaust. One of the coolest selling points of the Shelby GT350 and GT350R is the multi-mode exhaust that allows the driver to select between normal and sport modes. Knowing that this was one thing that no GT350 owner could do without, Borla designed their mufflers with the same style butterfly valves as Ford. In the closed position the valve blocks the exhaust flow, forcing it out one tip of the muffler to produce a more street friendly sound. When opened the valve “uncorks” the exhaust allowing it to exit through both tips of the muffler to generate an aggressive, throaty race style exhaust note. This Ford Performance by Borla Sport Active Cat-Back Exhaust reuses the factory valve motors.

This Sport Cat-Back exhaust system is manufactured especially for Ford Racing by Borla from high quality stainless steel tubing for superior strength and enduring corrosion resistance. Featuring ultra smooth mandrel bent 2.5″ diameter piping and a set of straight-through mufflers, this Cat-Back will significantly out flow your Shelby GT350’s original factory exhaust system. This Cat-Back reuse the factory exhaust tips located in the rear valance.
Easy, Bolt-on Installation. No welding or modifications are needed, this Ford Performance by Borla Sport Active Cat-Back Exhaust is a direct bolt-on installation that mounts to the stock catalytic converters using the factory mounting locations. All of the necessary hardware and clamps are provided, installation is performed with basic hand tools.
Application. This Ford Performance by Borla Sport Active Cat-Back Exhaust with X-Pipe is designed to fit the 2015-2020 Shelby GT350 and GT350R Mustangs equipped with the Voodoo 5.2L V8 engine. Will not fit GT models.
