A Perfect Foundation For A Mustang Engine. The Ford Performance 363 CI Boss Short Block is the same small block used in the 500 HP M-6007-Z2363FT crate engine. By enlarging the bore on a 302 small block, Ford Performance engineers are able to increase the displacement to 363 CI. They also used all new performance parts like SCAT® forged steel crankshaft and I beam connecting rods with floating pin and ARP® bolts. It also features Mahle® forged aluminum pistons. You can then complete your engine with your choice of heads, cam, and timing chain set.
Parts Selected for Quality and Performance. The Ford Performance 363 CI Boss Short Block is assembled with all new quality parts from manufacturers like SCAT® and Mahle®. This gives it the reliability and performance that you need for your Mustang.
Assembled and Ready. The short block is already assembled and ready for your heads, cam, and timing chain set. Note that the pistons are designed for 20-degree valve angle heads. Installation requires M-6051-R351 Head Gaskets to complete.
