A Great Foundation For Mustang Engines. The Ford Performance 347 CI Boss Short Block lets you build your ideal engine with your choice of heads, cam, intake, and oil pan. This block is used in Ford Performance 347 Sealed Racing Crate Engines. It features high-quality performance components like forged crankshafts, forged I-beam connecting rods, and the BOSS 302 block. With such a high-quality performance foundation, building your ideal engine is that much easier.
Assembled with All New Parts. The Ford Performance engineers ensure that all the best parts go into the 347 CI Boss Short Block. It incorporates parts from trusted vendors like SCAT® and Mahle® to give it the performance and reliability that a racing engine needs.
Pre-Assembled and Ready for Installation. This short block is already assembled and ready for your heads, cam, and timing chain set. Note that the pistons are designed for 20-degree valve angle heads. Installation requires head gaskets M-6051-CP331 or M-6051-S331 which are sold separately.
