Street or Off-Road Use. The X-Pipe included in this Borla S-Type Cat-Back Exhaust will bolt up directly behind the stock catalytic converters, making your 2013-2014 5.0L Mustang 100% smog-legal. It can alternately be installed with Borla’s XR-1 Long Tube Headers if you choose to delete the stock cats, providing even more power for the perfect off-road combination.
Innovative Construction. Constructed from smooth 2.75″ mandrel-bent stainless steel tubing, the Borla S-Type System includes an X-pipe and features two straight-through Stinger Mufflers with rolled 4.5″ black chrome angle cut tips. The patented straight-through baffled design provides maximum flow, power and best of all, no dreaded drone. Crafted to resist the corrosion that likely ruined your last muffler system, you’ll also be able to appreciate the Borla Logo that has been carefully embossed on each tip.
Application. This Borla Stinger S-Type Cat-Back Exhaust System with X-pipe and Black Tips has a versatile design that allows for use on 2013-2014 GT and BOSS 302 Mustangs equipped with either the stock manifolds or aftermarket shorty headers installed. It can also be installed on 2013-2014 GT and BOSS 302 Mustangs with a set of Borla’s XR-1 Long Tube Headers by deleting the catalytic converters.
Installation Note. When installing this X-pipe and Cat-Back Kit on a BOSS 302 Mustang, you will lose the functionality of the factory Side Exhaust Pipes.
Technical Notes. By removing the catalytic converters, this exhaust is no longer legal for use on pollution controlled motor vehicles and will be intended for off road use only.
