A Borla “ATAK” catback system will significantly increase exhaust flow over the restrictive factory exhaust system for a dramatic increase in rear wheel horsepower and an aggressive muscle car sound that is not for the faint of heart.
Race Car Growl. The included Borla X-Pipe not only helps increase power and performance, but it also adds a more raspy, race car like growl to the sound of your exhaust with its modern “X” crossover pipe design.
ATAK. Acoustically-Tuned Applied Kinetics, is Borla’s newest technology that produces the highest available dB (decibel) levels to pump the volume while retaining clarity of sound, avoiding distortion typically found in louder exhausts.
High Quality Construction. Manufactured from ultra smooth mandrel bent 3″ diameter T-304 stainless steel tubing to improve exhaust flow, this Borla catback exhaust system includes an X-Pipe and features (2) race inspired “ATAK” mufflers with 4″ chromed stainless steel tips that are embossed with the Borla logo for both impressive looks and great sound.
Works with Factory and Aftermarket Headers. Borla engineered their 3″ catback exhaust to work with both the factory manifolds and larger aftermarket long tube headers by including step-down adapters and intermediate pipes. This lets you install the catback on your bone stock Mustang with the option of adding long tube headers or other performance parts in the future without having to purchase a whole new cat-back system.
Application. This Borla ATAK 3″ Cat-Back exhaust system is designed as a direct bolt on replacement for all 2015-2017 GT Fastback Mustangs equipped with the coyote 5.0L V8 engine. Not compatible with convertibles.
