A Borla “ATAK” axleback system will significantly increase exhaust flow over the restrictive stock exhaust system for a dramatic increase in rear wheel horsepower and an aggressive muscle car sound that is not for the faint of heart.
ATAK. Acoustically-Tuned Applied Kinetics, is Borla’s newest technology that produces the highest available dB (decibel) levels to pump the volume while retaining clarity of sound, avoiding distortion typically found in louder exhausts.
High Quality Construction. Manufactured from ultra smooth mandrel bent 2.5″ diameter T-304 stainless steel tubing to improve exhaust flow, this Borla axleback exhaust system features (2) race inspired “ATAK” mufflers with 4″ black chromed stainless steel tips that are embossed with the Borla logo for both impressive looks and great sound.
Cut & Clamp Installation. The installation of this Axle-Back Exhaust requires cutting and removing the stock muffler assemblies, and clamping the new muffler assemblies in place. Clamps and instructions are provided.
Application. This Borla ATAK Axle-back exhaust system is designed for use on 2015-2017 GT Fastback and Convertible Mustangs equipped with the Coyote 5.0L V8 engine.
