Anti-Wheel Hop Package. Significantly improve your street, road or drag race performance with this well designed kit, including boxed rear lower control arms and relocation brackets from BMR Suspension. Made in the USA, this package has the components you need to decrease deflection under load, transfer power to the tires and improve traction. Upgrading to this Anti-Wheel Hop Kit will let you launch harder, corner tighter and obtain a more responsive feel from your S197 Mustang.
Lower Control Arms. The stock lower control arms on your Mustang are made with stamped steel and soft rubber bushings. These tend flex and deflect under load and absorb power that should be used by your tires. BMR’s control arms are constructed from heavy duty boxed steel tubing that has been TIG-welded for extra durability. This boxed design ensures long lasting strength and responsiveness. BMR then completes their Lower Control Arms in a durable black hammertone powder coated finish for impressive good looks and long lasting corrosion resistance.
Polyurethane Bushings. The stock bushings on your 2005-2014 Mustang are made of soft rubber and deflect far too much. The 95-durometer Polyurethane bushings provide improved ride quality and absorb noise, vibration and harshness during every day driving. They also maintain enough firmness to handle high compression loads from hard launches and accelerations. The poly bushings found in this package are internally fluted and greasable, which results in consistent lubrication and performance.
Three Position Relocation Brackets. Reposition the instant center on your Mustang using the included bolt-on control arm relocation brackets. BMR designed their brackets with three (3) adjustment positions. This allows you to fine tune the handling balance of your S197 Mustang to suite your specific driving needs whether it’s street, autocross or road racing. By correcting the angle of the arms, you modify the rear suspension geometry and increase anti-squat for better traction. Manufactured from heavy duty laser cut, CNC-formed steel plate, the relocation brackets securely bolt into place.
Application. This black hammertone BMR Anti-Wheel Hop Package is designed to fit all 2005-2014 Ford Mustangs, including V6, GT, Bullitt, BOSS and Shelby GT500 models.
