The Platform Improver. BMR works to ensure your high-performance 2015-2026 Mustang is stable on the track. The front K-member on the Mustang is quite strong straight from the factory, but still tends to flex under extreme use. The BMR Front Sub Frame Chassis Brace increases steering stability and reduces the need to make repeated front alignment changes on your S550 Mustang. Thanks to heavy-duty steel construction and smart engineering, it does this without increasing noise, vibration, or harshness (NVH) in the cabin. Have your cake and eat it, too!
Reduces Deflection. The BMR Sub Frame Chassis Brace ties the front lower control arms to the rear legs of the K-member, adding stiffness to the whole structure. Deflection under cornering and braking loads is considerably reduced, thus increasing steering feel and alignment stability under load.
Heavy Duty Construction. BMR Suspension proudly designs and manufactures their Subframe Chassis Brace right here in the USA. BMR’s Brace features a triangulated design that ties key structural points together for an extremely rigid frame. This Subframe Chassis Brace is constructed from heavy duty 2-1/4″ DOM steel and 1″ x 1.5″ rectangular tubing for exceptional strength. BMR then completes their Brace in a durable black hammertone powder coated finish for impressive good looks and long lasting corrosion resistance.
Easy Installation. Installation is 100% bolt-on and all necessary hardware is included. A lift helps, but installation can be achieved with jack stands and a good socket set.
Application. This hammertone BMR Front Subframe Chassis is specifically designed to fit on the 2015-2023 GT and EcoBoost Mustangs and 2024-2026 Mustangs with a Manual Transmission.
Technical Note. This Subframe Chassis Brace is not compatible on the GT models equipped with Kooks Long Tube Headers.
