No Tune Required. Unlike other Cold Air Intakes on the market, this BBK Black CAI does not require a computer re-tune. The engineers at BBK did their homework to improve your Mustang’s power and airflow, while still utilizing the stock tune.
Reusable Filter. BBK designed their high flow cotton element air filter to be reusable. Save yourself some money in the long run with the ability to clean the filter, re-oil and reinstall. There’s no need to go out and buy a new filter every few thousand miles.
Black Powdercoat Finish. The BBK Cold Air Intake not only improves your horsepower and acceleration, but will greatly improve your S550’s underhood appearance with its aggressive, baked-on, black wrinkle powdercoat finish.
Recommended Upgrade. Even though a re-tune is not required for operation, AmericanMuscle recommends a Bama Custom Tune with a Mustang Handheld Tuner to reprogram the vehicles computer (ECU). This will help to get the best performance possible out of this cold air intake.
Application. This BBK Cold Air Intake System is specifically designed to fit the 2015-2017 V6 Mustangs equipped with the 3.7L engine and does not require re-tuning of the vehicles computer for operation.
