Bolt-On Power Boost. Designed to add a welcome jolt of up to 12 horsepower to your EcoBoost Mustang. The BBK 65mm Throttle Body can be used with either the stock intake or any aftermarket cold air intake compatible with your 2.3L Pony. Besides some extra engine strength, the 65mm Throttle Body cuts turbo lag and gives your muscle car quicker throttle response for aggressive, red-hot performance.
No Tune Required. This BBK Power Plus Series 65mm Throttle Body is designed to improve the performance of your EcoBoost Mustang without the need of reprogramming your vehicle’s computer. The engineers at BBK really did their homework to improve your Pony’s power using the factory tune. Even though a re-tune is not required for operation, AmericanMuscle recommends a custom tune to reprogram the vehicles computer (ECU) to get the best possible performance from this Throttle Body.
Superior Build. The body of BBK’s 65mm Throttle Body is CNC machined out of lightweight, tough 356 aluminum, making it corrosion resistant and saving a few ounces of weight. High precision manufacturing ensures that the component fits seamlessly into your Mustang’s engine, while a sturdy build provides long service life in your vehicle.
Simple Bolt-On Installation. BBK engineered their Throttle Body to be a simple bolt-on upgrade. Featuring brand new pre-installed electronics there is no additional modifications or wiring required. Installation can be completed in under an hour with simple hand tools.
