Tuned Length Design. BBK Shorty “Tuned Length” Headers out perform both stock manifolds and other brands regular shorty headers for a proven way to add 10-15 more horsepower to the rear wheels of your S550 GT Mustang. BBK Tuned Length Headers have a unique extended tubular design that allows for unrestricted exhaust flow for an increase in horsepower, torque and performance. Perfect for the street, strip or track.
Silver Ceramic Coating. These Tuned Length Headers are completed in BBK’s Polished Silver Ceramic Coating that not only looks great, but reduce under hood temperatures to help increase horsepower and extend the life of the headers. Ceramic Coated headers will long out last both chrome plated and polished headers.
Quality BBK Construction. BBK Shorty Tuned Length Headers are manufactured from 1-3/4″ CNC mandrel bent tubing for unrestricted airflow. And feature one piece laser cut 3/8″ header flanges for additional strength, leak-free performance and a OEM fit. The headers are then finished with BBK’s high-temp Silver Polished Ceramic Coating for good looks and to lower under hood temperatures.
Cut & Weld Installation. Installation of these BBK Tuned Length Shorty Headers will require cutting of the weld that connects the stock exhaust manifolds to the catted down pipe. Then you will need to weld a flange to the stock catted down pipe so you can bolt the Shorty Headers to the catted down pipe properly.
Application. These BBK Performance 1-3/4″ Ceramic Tuned Length Headers are designed to fit all 2015-2017 GT Mustangs equipped with the Coyote 5.0L DOHC 4 valve V8 engine, including both Fastback and Convertible models.
