40% Shorter Throw. Using a Dual Pivot Trunnion design the Barton Short Throw Shifter allows for a 40% reduction in throw with only minimal loss of the neutral left to right throw. All while preserving the factory shifter ergonomics for a comfortable ride.
Retains Reverse Lock-out. The Barton Industries Short Throw Shifter was specifically designed to retain the Back Up Camera and the Reverse Lock-out safety feature of the 2011 manual Mustangs to prevent accidentally shifting into reverse.
Superior Construction. Machined from 6061 T6 billet aluminum and 304 stainless steel, for solid construction, this short throw shifter and shifter bracket installs easily with NO permanent modifications required to your Mustang.
Application. This Barton Industries shifter and bracket is specifically designed for the 2011-2013+ V6 and GT Mustangs equipped with the MT-82 manual 6 speed transmission. The shift handle reuses the stock shift knob or an aftermarket knob with a 12mm x 1.25 thread pattern.
