Superior Filtration. This cold air intake not only improves horsepower, but it also provides superior air filtration, since it includes an Airaid Premium Filter with SynthaFlow® technology. SynthaFlow® is a synthetic nano-fiber material that traps the smallest dirt particles down to 2 microns in size that ordinary cotton-gauze “performance” filters just can’t capture. And best of all Airaid Premium Filters are washable and re-usable saving you money.
Required Upgrade. Installation of this Cold Air Intake will require the use of a Mustang Handheld Tuner to reprogram the vehicles computer (ECU) for operation.
Not CARB Certified.This is not CARB certified, therefore not legal for sale or use in California, or any state adopting California’s emissions standards.
Application. This Airaid Race Cold Air Intake kit is specifically designed for use on the 2005 to 2009 GT Mustangs equipped with the 3V 4.6L engine. A computer re-tune is required for operation.
