SynthaFlow® is a synthetic nano-fiber material that traps the smallest dirt particles down to 2 microns in size that ordinary cotton-gauze “performance” filters just can’t capture. And best of all Airaid Premium Filters are washable and re-usable saving you money.
Modular Venturi Tube (MVT). This Cold Air Intake does not require a tune when installed with the included “Modular Venturi Tube”. The Modular Venturi Tube (MVT) can be removed for off-road use only.
CARB Certified. Best of all this Airaid Mustang FIPK Air Intake Kit is 50-state smog legal under Carb EO# D-609-18. for April 2005 through 2006 GT models. Unfortunately the Cold Air Intake is not CARB Certified for the 2007 to 2009 models.
Application. This Airaid Cold Air Intake with a SynthaFlow Oiled Filter is designed to fit the 2005-2009 Mustang GT. No computer re-tune is required with the Modular Venturi Tube is installed.
